The Stampede FX Series WAN optimization improves access to your applications two ways. Utilizing content reduction techniques, the amount of data can be reduced by a factor of two or greater. The content reduction in tandem with acceleration techniques shrinks access times to your data by a factor of 5 or 10, or even greater.

Transparent Assured Delivery
With flexible options for in-line or Cisco's Web Cache Communication Protocol (WCCP), the FX Series devices deliver unprecedented transparent optimization. End-to-end assurance is maintained for all applications providing complete transparency and the ability for existing Quality of Service (QoS) and network visibility management programs to continue monitoring the health of your network.

Availability

The Stampede FX platforms support deployments in either N+N or N+1 configurations. Simply add additional FX devices as needed for increased scalability or failover protection.

Historical data for days or months are easily viewed via online graphs, simplifying capacity planning, trending, network issues, and application troubleshooting. Notes: Number of accelerated sessions for single-sided ADC only mode. Two-sided accelerated sessions are the same as the number of corresponding REM sessions. Number of accelerated sessions for two-sided ADC to REM mode. Maximum accelerated WAN rates are a function of compressibility. If all content is being GZIP compressed with a compression ratio of greater than 4:1, the maximum WAN rate may not be accelerated. The number of images handled per second is a function of image size. For 10 KB images, 800 images per second; for 50 KB images, 350 images per second; for 500 KB images, 34 images per second.
